EIG commences operations as an independent firm with more than $8.5 billion under management continuing its\u2019 role as one of the leading specialist investors in energy and energy-related infrastructure projects and companies on a global basis.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEIG is proud to have what we believe to be the longest continuous track-record of any institutional investor in energy and we\u2019re pleased that we can now continue that record as an independent firm.
