Mr. Ellenbogen joined EIG in 2011 and currently serves as President of EIG & CEO of EIG Credit Management, as well as serving as a member of the Investment and Executive Committees. Mr. Ellenbogen serves on the board of directors of several EIG portfolio companies, including GNL Quintero, Sunlight PV, Segreto Power and AME SpA. Prior to joining EIG, Mr. Ellenbogen was a Vice President in Morgan Stanley’s Power and Utilities Investment Banking group. Mr. Ellenbogen began his career in GE Energy’s Financial Management Program. Mr. Ellenbogen received an A.B. cum laude from Duke University and a J.D. cum laude from Harvard Law School. Mr. Ellenbogen is a member of the Board of Advisors of Duke University’s Nicholas Institute for Energy, Environment & Sustainability, and the board of Environmental Charter Schools, and previously served as Treasurer of DC Scholars Public Charter School and was a Term Member of the Council on Foreign Relations. Mr. Ellenbogen is fluent in Spanish.
