Mr. Farzad is a Managing Director and Head of Strategic Investments at EIG, as well as serving as a member of the Executive Committee. He is also the Chief Business Development Officer of MidOcean Energy, a global LNG company formed and managed by EIG. He has been with EIG in several roles since 2015 including as the Chief Business Development Officer of Harbour Energy. He currently serves as a member of the Board of Directors of Repsol E&P. Prior to joining EIG he held various business development and commercial roles at energy companies including Petrobras Africa, Dominion Petroleum and Salamander Energy. Mr. Farzad started his career at Goldman Sachs in the Investment Banking Division and received an MA from The University of Oxford, an MSC from The London School of Economics and an MBA from INSEAD.
