EIG is fully committed to protecting the privacy interests of individuals who provide us with their personal data, and to complying with applicable regulatory requirements, including but not limited to the Hong Kong Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (the “Ordinance”). EIG instructs its staff to comply with strict standards of security and confidentiality. EIG’s policy is to restrict access to personally identifiable information concerning individuals to employees and agents who have a need to use that information, and who have been instructed to handle such information properly and observe confidentiality. Please note that personally identifiable information collected at this web site is not electronically encrypted.

Personally identifiable information is collected by EIG only when a visitor voluntarily submits a request by using the “Contact Us” function; the information collected are the name and email of the inquirer. Information collected will only be used by EIG for responding to such inquiries. EIG will not disclose personally identifiable information collected to any other party, subject to the requirements of our Privacy Policy, in a form that would identify the individual who provided the information. An individual or another person permitted under the Ordinance has the right to be informed by EIG whether it holds personally identifiable information of that individual, and to request to access or correct their personally identifiable information held by EIG.
