Gabriel Meira is a Senior Vice President of EIG and a member of the Brazil-based investment team. Mr. Meira joined EIG as an associate in 2014, after investment banking experience at Credit Suisse, focused on M&A and ECM transactions. During his tenure at Credit Suisse, Mr. Meira has worked on relevant transactions in power and infrastructure sectors, such as Galeão Airport concession and acquisition of Celpa (power distribution) by Equatorial Energia. Mr. Meira also has experience in financial restructuring and private equity, having worked at Atlântico Sul shipyard and at on H.I.G. Capital’s LatAm team, dedicated to middle-market M&A. Gabriel holds a bachelor’s degree in Civil-Aeronautical Engineering from Aeronautical Institute of Technology (ITA).
