Joao Maio is an Assistant Vice President and member of the investment team. Prior to joining EIG in September 2022, Mr. Maio worked at Societe Generale in the Reserve Based Finance team and before at Engie. Mr. Maio brings with him experience in upstream oil and gas valuations and debt financing. Mr. Maio received a B.A. in Economics from Eastern Kentucky University, an Msc. In Mineral and Energy Economics from Colorado School of Mines and an Msc. In Petroleum Economics and management from IFP School.
