Mr. Souto is a Vice President and a member of the investment team. Prior to joining EIG in January 2021, Mr. Souto was an Associate in Starboard Asset, where he was a member of the investment team focused on common equity and special situations investments. Previously, Mr. Souto worked at Bradesco BBI and Brasil Plural as an Investment Banking Analyst, where he advised a wide range of clients across several industries, including oil & gas, power generation and infrastructure sectors in the execution of mergers and acquisitions and equity offerings. Mr. Souto received a B.Sc. in Economics from Pontifícia Universidade Católica do Rio de Janeiro (PUC-RJ) in 2016.
